Engineer in new energy technologies for lowering emissions in industrial environments and harbors (R1 Project Engineer)

The Group Leader of Nanoionics and Fuel Cells is looking for an engineer to work on the development of a report about low emission energy technologies for harbors.

Description:

We are interested in a degree holder with experience in system engineering of renewable energy sources and energy storage technologies. The candidate will be involved in the development of an international project called World Ports Climate Action Program and to develop a route map for the implementation of new energy technologies in different industrial environments. Moreover, the candidate will be involved in the development of engineering projects for the implementation of new energy technologies for industries and harbors.

Requirements:

Professional who is highly skilled in planning and organizing. Capacity to work in a team, flexible, with initiative and ability to innovation. High level of system engineering for industrial applications.

Specific skills and background on renewable energy sources and energy storage technologies will be positively evaluated.

University degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar is mandatory. Master in energy technologies or similar will be positively evaluated.

Fluent English and Spanish (or Catalan) is essential.

One-year contract with possibility of extension.

A salary commensurate with the characteristics of the candidate

Incorporation: The candidates should be available for starting in March 2019
