Competitive research projects developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

IREC is looking for a Proposal Developer in competitive programs. The professional will be integrated within the IREC’s Corporate Development and Knowledge & Technology Transfer team taking responsibilities in competitive projects and public funding research programs at European (e.g., H2020/Horizon Europe and similar international programs), National (ministers and CDTI) and Catalan (Agaur and ACCIO) level. In particular, tasks will include scouting, promotion, administrative support and writing of public competitive projects at national and European level.

The professional must be highly skilled and have proven experience in scouting, promotion, preparation and writing of public funding programs. Capacity to work in a team, flexible, goals oriented, innovative, with initiative and problem solving skills would be valuable. High level of writing, communication and negotiation skills are mandatory.

Requirements:

Essential:
- University Degree in Science, Technology or Engineering
- Knowledge of energy technologies and sector
- Experience in promotion of competitive projects at national and international level
- Experience in research-industry collaboration projects and programs
- High proficiency of Spanish and English languages
- High proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Project

Advantageous:
- University Degree in fields related to Energy
- Knowledge and/or experience on renewable energies, smart grids, energy efficiency and energy sector
- Experience at research or technology centers
- Background and/or experience in commercial activities, marketing, strategy, negotiation with clients
- Knowledge of H2020 funding schemes and related JTI, PPP, JPI, etc.
- Knowledge of Spanish and Catalan research funding programs
- Proven knowledge of the European and/or national industrial energy sector and related associations/platforms
- High proficiency of Catalan language

Salary:

A temporary contract of 1 year, renewable up to 3 years is offered. Salaries will be paid in accordance with the IREC’s salary policy, depending on the candidate’s qualification and professional experience.
