Launching of the Efficient Buildings thematic community - MEDNICE

IREC participated in the Kick-off Meeting of the European project MEDNICE, on March 7th & 8th 2017, as partner of MED Programme Networks for an Innovative Cooperation in Energy efficiency.

The Horizontal Project MEDNICE, lead by the Euromed Cities Network, will anchor a MED community around energy issues that public organisations face, as a hub for Energy Efficiency (EE) innovative and shared solutions, in order to promote modular projects’ results and increase their impact on public policies.

IREC, as technical partner in the project, will be responsible of coordinating communication with modular projects, capitalize knowledge and expertise in this community and produce technical papers to enhance the energy efficiency in public buildings at Mediterranean level.

(*) this project relies on the competences of five European partners working in a network: Energy Cities, European association of local authorities in energy transition, based in France and Brussels; the Euro - Mediterranean University EMUNI, Slovenia; the Region of North Aegean, representing the CPMR Balkans and Black Sea Commission, Greece; the Euro - Mediterranean Center on Climate Change, Italy and the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research, Spain.
