Biography
Óscar González obtained his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering on July 2007 at “Escola Universitària d’Enginyeria Tècnica Industrial de Terrassa” (EUETIT, UPC, Terrassa, Spain), and the Ms degree also in Electrical Engineering on October 2010 at “Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyeria Industrial de Barcelona” (ETSEIB, UPC, Barcelona, Spain). He developed his bachelor Thesis (July 2007) about of an electrical machine design, and the Ms Thesis (October 2010) about EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) railway facilities. Both of this Thesis including FEM (Finite Element Method) electromagnetic studies and simulations elaborated with different 2D and 3D software tools. In 2002 joined in RENAULT (Esplugues de Llobregat, Spain) as internship and trained administration. From 2008 to 2010 he had been working in SENER, Ingenieria y Sistemas S.A. (Barcelona, Spain), collaborating in constructive projects about electrification railway systems of conventional railway and high speed train; he also participated in safety dossiers for subway. He enrolled the electric and electronics department in “Catalonia Institute for Energy Research” (IREC, Barcelona, Spain) on December 2010, performing research in the electric field.
