Biography

Mikel de Prada Gil obtained his Industrial Engineering degree on March 2010 at “Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya” (UPC, Barcelona, Spain). During the studies, he started his research activity through a research group called “Centre d'Innovació Tecnològica en Convertidors Estàtics i Accionaments” (CITCEA, Barcelona). He has collaborated with “Cátedra EndesaRed de Innovación Energética (CERIEN, Barcelona) in projects related to wind energy and with “Unión Fenosa” in energy efficiency projects. In June 2009 he taught a course to introduce participants to the program PSS/E and dynamic simulations. Also, he participated in the seminar on wind energy which was held in February 2010 in “Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyeria Industrial de Barcelona” (ETSEIB, Barcelona). He has attended three professional courses taught by CITCEA: “Basic course in electrical installations”, “Management Company purchases (Gas and electricity)” and “Course for the application of DSP to motor control” In March 2010 to the actuality, he enrolled “Catalonia Institute for Energy Research” (IREC, Barcelona).
