Biography
Alberto Sánchez obtained his degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2008. Thereafter he did a research internship at the Department of Thermal and Fluid Engineering working with CFD code. During 2009-2011, Alberto completed a Master in Building Technology at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where he focused on building heat transfer and thermal comfort simulation using CFD models. While studying his Master, he worked part-time in a couple of building engineering companies where he got involved in tasks related with building energy labeling, LEED/BREEAM lighting certification and sustainability consulting. At present, Alberto is pre-doctoral researcher at IREC.
