Thrust Areas

Modeling and Control of Wind Turbines

  • Development of control algorithms for a permanent magnet synchronous generator and a dual-fuel engine for wind energy generation applications for the study or wind energy integration into the electricity grid.
  • Integration of developed algorithms for controlling active and reactive power in wind parks, for both the addition of new elements (FACTS, energy storage, etc.) and adaptation of facilities to new regulations.
