adVAnced modellIng and mANAgement of offshore energy hubs (VAIANA)

This project addresses the integration challenges of large-scale offshore wind energy into the grid by leveraging its synergies with hydrogen production. By adopting a multi-energy perspective, it advances the optimal design, planning, and operation of Offshore Energy Hubs to transform them into crucial flexibility sources. These hubs will not only minimize renewable energy curtailment but also accelerate decarbonization efforts, by supporting the secure and resilient operation of interconnected power grids.
