On the 29th of September, IREC will once again participate in the Cursa de la Mercè, one of Barcelona’s emblematic events during the city’s Mercè festivities. This year, our running team has grown, reflecting the strong sense of collaboration and commitment within the Institute.
Through our involvement in this sporting event, we not only promote a healthy and active lifestyle, but also reinforce the bonds within our community. At IREC, we recognise the importance of wellbeing and fostering positive relationships among our members, which is why we actively support initiatives that enhance collaboration and engagement across the Institute.
This year, our runners will proudly wear the slogan: “Un pas més en la recerca i…encara ens queda energia” (One step further in research and…we still have energy). This phrase encapsulates the spirit of perseverance and dedication that drives our work, both on the course and in our research.
We extend our thanks to all the participants for showcasing the strength and unity of the IREC community as we continue working together towards achieving our goals in the field of energy research.
