The Future of Renewable Energy in Scotland and Spain

The University of Edinburgh School of Engineering, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Spain in Edinburgh and IREC amount others institutions, are organising a workshop on the future of renewable energy research and innovation in Scotland and Spain. The objective of the workshop is to highlight the state of the art in the area of renewable energy and help identify opportunities for collaboration between the two countries. The 18 hand-picked speakers of the workshop will give an overview of the recent developments in both academic research and the industry.

📍   Time: 9h-13h. GMT and will be hosted on zoom.

➡  José Luis Domínguez-García, head of Power systems research gruop of IREC will participate in Session 2B “IREC’s roadmap on future renewable energy based energy system”  from 10:20-11:05h.

Registration is free to everyone (you don’t have to be from Scotland or Spain!) through this form.

Al participants will receive a certificate of attendance to the workshop.

A roundtable session at the end of the workshop (13:05 – 14:00) will facilitate the discussion on collaboration opportunities. Academics/researchers and industry representatives from both countries are invited to join.
