Description
The Solar Powered Systems IREC-UPC JRU is a strategic research alliance between the Solar Energy Materials & Systems Group (SEMS Group) from IREC and the Micro and Nanotechnology Group (MNT Group) from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, with the aim to strengthen R+D activities in the development of new solar technologies exploiting the strongly complementary in skills, know-how and infrastructure available at both groups in advanced research topics related to:
- Emerging cost-efficient thin film PV sustainable technologies
- New device architectures for advanced PV integration concepts
- New methodologies for advanced characterization of devices and processes using machine learning and Artificial Intelligence strategies.
