ATRA-EN will attract international talent for building a sustainable future


In a strategic move towards boosting research and development initiatives, the ATRA-EN project (“Attracting talent for a sustainable future“) has been granted. With the commitment to fostering a diverse and dynamic talent pool, ATRA-EN aims to strengthen the infrastructure supporting research and development (R&D) activities while attracting, recruiting, integrating, and retaining international research and technical talent.

ATRA-EN aims to attract top-tier international talent, streamline their integration, foster long-term retention, and provide essential training and resources for effective research personnel development.

The project has a total budget of 138k€ and will run for 2 years, starting in January 2024. It is led by Francesc Torregrossa, head of the Human Resources department at IREC, and has hired Pol Tarrats as a Talent Officer. The appointment of this officer, whose role spans various divisions including human resources (HR), technology transfer (KTT), and management area (UG) at IREC, underscores the project’s commitment to a holistic approach in talent management.
