IREC organised the EU PV Clusters 2nd Workshop and General Assembly at the “Aula Magna” of the University of Barcelona on 26th-28th November 2013

The workshop “Progress in Photovoltaics and Nanotechnology: From FP7 to Horizon 2020. The EU PV Clusters 2nd Workshop and General Assembly” was held on 26th-28th November 2013 in Barcelona (Spain), at the Lecture Hall (Aula Magna) of the University of Barcelona. This event gathered 80 participants from 16 different countries involved in more than 40 projects from different programmes funded by the European Commission on-going in these topics.

The Workshop was organised by IREC with the support of the SCALENANO European project (www.scalenano.eu, contract n. 284486), XaRMAE (Catalan Network of Advanced Materials for Energy) and the University of Barcelona. The presentations of the projects funded by the European Commission under the FP7 Program gave a very useful overview of the FP7 projects in PV. The EU PV Clusters (www.eupvclusters.eu) gather today about 73 projects (including completed ones). The Workshop gave the opportunity to more than 40 projects and several European initiatives to come together during three full days of very constructive interactions.

Preliminary conclusions and main highlights from the workshop are summarised can be found here.
