IREC presents “Gara and the energy that surrounds us” an exhibition project for innovative scientific dissemination on energy transition that is today opened up for the general public at Casal Pere Quart (Rambla, 69) in Sabadell, starting from today until February 28, 2022.
“Gara and the energy that surrounds us” is a scientific dissemination project aimed at the non-specialized public, which aims to improve the scientific-technical education of society on a topic as current as it is worrying, such as energy and the transition towards a more sustainable model for our planet.
The exhibition is divided into four activity zones in which, through a unique display, the public will learn about important aspects and concepts such as energy sources, sustainability and energy efficiency. It covers the “energy journey” from the generation, storage, distribution and consumption of energy.
After Sabadell, the exhibition will be shown in other locations through an itinerary as follows: Can Baratau library (Tiana) from February 28 to March 23, to the Centre cívic Joan Oliver “Pere Quart” (Barcelona) from March 23. to April 26, the Centre de Cultura Popular La Violeta de Gràcia from April 30 to May 30, in Montblanc from May 30 to June 20 and finally in Moià from June 20 to July 11, 2022.
