IREC receives a Joan Oró fellowship from AGAUR

AGAUR has recently granted one fellowship for hiring predoctoral research staff to Victoria Rotaru for developing her PhD thesis at IREC. She joined the Solar Energy Materials and Systems group at the Institute and will be supervised by Maxim Guc and Victor Izquierdo-Roca.

The title of her thesis is “Advanced characterization of wide band gap semiconductor materials for optoelectronic device applications through the combination of different spectroscopic techniques”. Victoria participates in the Physics doctoral program at the University of Barcelona.

The FI-2023 Joan Oró fellowships have a duration of 3 years and are intended for people who carry out a doctorate at a university in Catalonia.
