The mission of IREC’s Human Resources department is to support the growth and professional development of people who are part of IREC, through the promotion of an attractive institutional environment.
The department’s policies help make IREC a workplace where people can thrive, share their experience, and exchange new ideas. The Institute has been awarded the accreditation of the European Commission HR Excellence in Research in recognition of its commitment to professional development, equal opportunities, transparency and favorable working conditions.
From the Human Resources department we work to ensure a safe job, with a friendly environment based on a concept of diversity that focuses on gender, origin (ethnic or national), religion, age , disability and sexual orientation, where our people enjoy working with each other, sharing their knowledge and experiences.
IREC is committed to the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers promoted by the European Commission . The main idea of these principles is to ensure open, transparent and merit-based recruitment (OTM-R), following the good practices promoted by the European Commission to ensure that the best person is recruited for the job. At the same time, we seek to ensure equal opportunities, accessible to all, that allow the development of an international career and make research careers more attractive.
