Joint Euro-Mediterranean Workshop

to offer the opportunity to master proven solutions for energy efficiency in buildings

The three European projects SEACAP 4 SDG, MeetMED and Efficient Buildings Community join their forces in the co-organization of the Euro-Mediterranean workshop “Innovation & impact: Good practices in energy efficiency for buildings in Mediterranean cities”.

The event, mainly addressed to decision-makers, local authorities, as well as local, regional and national energy agencies, represents the opportunity to present a panorama of replicable tools and methodologies in the field of energy efficiency for buildings.

In addition, in parallel working groups the participants will explore the needs of the cities to investigate the transferability and concrete application of the proposed solutions at territorial level.

The SEACAP 4 SDG project, funded within ENI CBCMED Program, aims to find innovative solutions and tools to reduce energy consumption in public buildings through cost-effective approaches to energy refurbishment, integrating Sustainable Energy Access and Climate Action Plans and innovative support mechanisms for Cities.

MeetMED is an EU-funded project aimed at strengthening the implementation of EE measures and improving countries’ energy mix focusing on building and appliances’ sectors through a multiscale, multi-partner and inclusive approach at local and regional levels, thereby fostering regional cooperation.

Efficient Buildings Community, funded within INTERREG MED Program, is a network of public authorities, energy agencies, research institutions and business organizations with the aim to unlock energy efficiency potential of public buildings in the Mediterranean area.

The workshop is open to political representatives and experts from both shores of the Mediterranean basin.

Simultaneous interpretation English/French will be provided.
